昨日安倍首相は、全国すべての小学校・中学校・高校・特別支援学校等に、3月2日から春休みまでの期間、臨時休校とするよう要請する考えを表明しました。新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大を防ぐため、今年のAJETミュージカルは全公演の開催を中止することになりました。
25年間連続して皆様からのご支援に心から感謝しております。今年もたくさんの方々が楽しみにされていたことだと思います。私たちも素敵なミュージカルを上演したかったのですが、観客の多くが子どもたちであるので、子どもたちとご家族皆さんが病気の危険にさらされないために中止といたします。
ミュージカルの指導者が今後の対応を考えておりますが、新型コロナウイルスの感染状況を静観して、数週間から数ヶ月後の判断となる可能性もあります。

Hello everyone,
With last night’s announcement from Prime Minister Abe requesting all schools close until Spring Break to slow the spread of COVID-19, the AJET Musical leadership has decided to cancel all performances. We appreciate your support over the past 25 years and know that many of you were looking forward to seeing this year’s show. We have worked hard to put together a great show for you, so the timing is regrettable, but many of our audience members are young children and we do not want to put them and their families at risk.
We are discussing what to do from here, but no decisions will be made until we can assess the situation with the spread of COVID-19 in the coming weeks and potentially months.
Thank you for your understanding and we hope that you will continue to support the AJET Musical in the future.
